This picture speaks volumes... On the left, schoolchildren without money for uniforms stand separated from their friends. It’s easier to see who has no shoes than who misses breakfast. TCDF's annual uniform project is more than just providing shoes, shirts, skirts, socks, and bags. It helps outreach workers and teachers identify children in need. The new Thai school year started in May, and thanks to TCDF, 500 students began proudly in new uniforms! However, TCDF still receives urgent calls for shoes and lunch support.
Since its founding in 2004, the Thai Child Development Foundation (TCDF) has been committed to breaking the cycle of poverty in rural Thailand. TCDF provides scholarships for underprivileged children and specialized education for those with special needs, enabling them to overcome economic challenges and develop their full potential. Led by a dedicated team and supported by local communities, TCDF ensures that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the opportunities needed for a better future.
Herman has already covered 3800 training kilometers and has 17 weeks left until his departure to Hanoi. By sponsoring a kilometer for €5, you help create a better future for children in Thailand. Together, we can make a world of difference, kilometer by kilometer.
Thank you for your participation and support of the journey!
