The biking route from Hanoi to Paksong.

Updated: Nov 24

In this blog, I'll provide a preliminary overview of the upcoming biking route, understanding that details may evolve. A subsequent blog will delve into the exact route as it solidifies.

The journey kicks off the 19th of October at the TCDF ambassadors meeting in Holland. Shortly after, a flight to Hanoi marks the commencement of the adventure. Following a brief acclimatization period, the initial stretch includes must-visit spots like Halong Bay and Ninh Binh, known for their cultural and scenic allure.

From Ninh Binh, the path unfolds towards Laos and the northern regions of Cambodia. Specifics of this leg are still in the works, with the ultimate goal set on reaching Siem Reap, exploring the iconic Angkor Wat, and moving onward to Thailand, Bangkok.

The bike trail hugs the Gulf of Thailand, passing through captivating locales like Hua Hin, Chumphon, Langsuan, and concluding at the final destination, Paksong.

The total distance will be roughly 3500 km.

A significant highlight is scheduled for December 21st, aiming to arrive at TCDF in Paksong during the grand celebrations of their 20th anniversary. It's on this festive occasion that I plan to present the culmination of our collective efforts—a sponsorship cheque that reflects the spirit and generosity of the journey. .
